Preparation

Weigh and grind 25g of coffee.

Fill your coffee maker's receptacle with 400g (or mL) of cold filtered water.

Place your paper filter in the basket.
If you are able to detach the basket from your coffee maker, rinse the filter thoroughly and discard the water.

Place the ground coffee so that the bed is flat. Start the machine.
Making sure the coffee grounds are flat ensures an even extraction and will allow the water to run through in a consistent flow.

Stir and serve.
