Alternate Route Coffee

Based in Edmonton, Alternate Route Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster built on a foundation of passion, commitment, and partnership. Founded in 2017 by partners Ian & Kellie Wahl, they started roasting a small gas-powered roasting machine inside of a reclaimed food truck. After honing their roasting skills, they moved into their new roasting space at the Edmonton International Airport in 2021 where they now have a tasting room. They focus on building partnerships that extend beyond simple transactions by working together to achieve common goals, and creating a better life for those around them.
