Tanzania - Peaberry

Tanzanian Peaberry coffee is known for its unique bean, where only one bean grows inside the coffee cherry instead of the usual two, allowing it to absorb all the nutrients. This mutation is believed by some to result in a higher quality coffee. Approximately 5-10% of all coffee cherries are peaberries. With a cultural relationship with coffee, Tanzania has the infrastructure to sort peaberries. This medium roast is well suited as a filter coffee and single origin espresso.
