Mogiana

The Mogiana region, split between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, is the most renowned of three major Brazilian coffee growing regions. This region has rolling hills and uneven terrain, which leads to farms being small to medium in size.

This coffee is sourced from various farmers in the rolling hills of the Mogiana region. The volcanic soil and high altitudes make for ideal coffee growing conditions. Coffees from this area are usually low in acidity, heavy in body, chocolaty, with a deep, dark flavour.

The resulting cup reminds us of chocolate and nuts.
