Cajamarca is a northern department of Peru that is part of the Andes Mountain Range and has a portion of its territory in the Amazon Rainforest. It also shares a border with Ecuador.

This coffee is sourced from Raúl Flores & his farm La Productiva in San Ignacio, Cajamarca. Raúl lives in the most remote part of his community, having to trek several kilometres by foot to get to his home and plantation. His coffee has proven to be the most promising in the group due to the higher altitude and specific microclimate it enjoys.

The resulting cup reminds us of tropical fruits and apple pastry.
