A good Kenyan coffee is a wonderful thing. For me, the Gatuya is a classic. Deep blackberry flavour, a crazy white sugar sweetness and a boatload of acidity. This coffee is big and syrupy. If you like the brighter side then this coffee is not to be missed out on.
From the importer:
The Gatuya Coffee Factory is one of two washing stations operated by the New Murarandia Farmers Cooperative Society, which has a total of around 3,500 smallholder producer members. Each farmer owns about 1/5th to 1/3rd of a hectare and delivers coffee in cherry to the factory.
