It was established in 1872, and has a firm commitment to providing a safe and clean work environment for the over 200 employees. They also provide scholarships and funds to purchase school supplies, which extends to college enrolment for employees and their children.

All coffees produced at Finca Medina are Rainforest Alliance and UTZ certified.
