This decaf coffee is sourced from 11 farmers located in the region of Huila in Colombia. They are all experienced coffee growers who in the last decade have greatly increased their production of specialty grade coffee, putting Huila on the map as a well renowned producing region in Colombia.
Developed this year in response to the unprecedented circumstances that arose during the global pandemic, some of their high-scoring microlots had not found takers. They thus chose to experiment to create high-quality decafs. This chemical-free decaf is carefully curated and roasted to please both latte lovers and filter coffee drinkers.
The resulting cup has notes of brown sugar and grilled marshmallow, as well as an apricot acidity.
