Agaro

Yirgacheffe is part of the Sidamo region in Ethiopia; however it's considered its own recognized micro-region due to the unique coffee profile produced on its territory. The Yirgacheffe region is known to have thick vegetation, healthy soil, and high elevations.

This coffee is sourced from 498 smallholder farmers located around the Agaro washing station in in Agaro, Yirgacheffe. Their coffees are handpicked at peak ripeness, machine pulped and undergo anaerobic fermentation before washing. Finally, as is typical to the region, the coffee is sun-dried on raised beds for seven to ten days, depending on sun and humidity.

The resulting cup reminds us of citrus, berries & bergamot.
