El Borbollon

The Alvarez family has been growing coffee in El Salvador for over 100 years across four generations. Their farms are located on the lush green hills of Santa Ana, known for its rich volcanic soils and mild climate ideal for coffee cultivation. The beans used in El Borbollón come from two small neighboring farms, La Reforma and Santa Maria, which are hand-picked from December until March by trained pickers.
