Cozy neighborhood Italian coffee shop with friendly service, tasty treats, a nice sunny terrasse, and delicious, reasonably priced coffee. The quintessential social café on Monkland.

Un petit Italian aux allures européenne apprécié des locaux toutes catégories confondus. On se connais. Vous m’avez surpris Cafe de Mercanti avec votre café. Pas du tout ce que je m’attendais, il était fabuleux surtout accompagné d’un biscotti aux amandes. Un livre d’une compilation de recettes des locaux est vendus et 100% des profits sont remis à l’hôpital Montreal children’s. En plus tu y retrouves des histoires de jeunes patients ainsi que le personnel professionnel. Une très belle implication dans sa communauté, une très belle cause.
